Well, DragonFire actually started as a closed shard for our family and a few friends to have a place to play. However it didn't take long for us to open it up for all as we became more and more pleased with the way the shard was progressing. We believed you should have to work for things, skills, stats, items, you get the picture. About the only time someone got something from us for free was when they helped us test it. Sometimes that was a good thing and sometimes it wasn't. Was a crapshoot for both sides.... lol so it all worked out in the end.(which we didn't realize was coming faster than we could have imagined)..... We had the shard up and going well for about a year, then due to circumstances beyond our control we had to move and lost our net connection........ That was the beginning of the end.... We still had the shard up and running and we were still constantly making improvements so when we got back online we thought our old players would come back and all would be well.....Alas, only a few came back, and some of those were sporadic at best.... Well to make a very long story a little bit shorter, we were still working and improving and starting to burn out........ Playing was losing its luster with no one else about anymore and improvements were starting to seem pointless....... Then one evening we decided that we were going to give it another shot. We would revamp everything from the ground up.

Well, here we are again. As much as it pains us sometimes, we love this game. We would love to have you come and be a part of our small but hopefully growing family.
